The improvements of version 4.2.2.80 are primarily focused on bringing a much better Web-gallery maintenance experience.

These changes are implemented:

• New: Remove a published Album from the Website (gallery)
• New: Ftp-directory cleanup prior to re-publishing an album to a website.
• New: Reset all albums to the same web-layout properties of the selected category.
• New: Start an Album-report from the Album treeview
• Improved: Export speed
• Improved: Export logging

• Updated: Camera-RAW processing (up to 2011-oct-07)

Photo Archive was updated (again) to solve some minor issues:

Version 4.2.2.46

• Fixed: Exif-date conversion filas during import, causing import to finish silently without reporting problems
• Fixed: Keywords are not added during import
• New: start keyword-search by using [Ctrl][f] or doubleclick on a selected keyword in the Keywords sidebar.
• Improved background update of edited images.

Photo Archive received a small update to version 4.2.2. This update primarily adresses a setup isue with Photo Archive 4.2 on windows 7.

• Fixed: a full (typical) setup on Windows 7 which includes Firebird aborts with an error stating that a required file is missing.
• Update: latest Firebird 2.0.6 database server included
• Update: RAW-processing updated for new camera's (up to april 2, 2011)
• Fixed: exporting images after images has been edited in an external editor like Adobe Photoshop is interupted by the backgound image-updating process. This causes a minimized Photo Archive to popup.

While we are still busy developing and testing a new update of Photo Archive 4, we cannot help to disclose some new features. The most important one is the support of Adobe Photoshop documents (.psd files).

Below is a summary of changes for version 4.2.1. which are included this far:

New in Photo Archive 4.2 is the 'Create HDR-image' feature.

Now it has become very easy to create a High Dynamic Range image from only 1 source RAW-file. Normally you have to create at least 2 extra jpeg-files from 1 RAW-file with modified exposure settings by hand to create a bracketing like series. Photo Archive does this automatically for you with only 1 click!
